We make up 20% of the population, yet our energy is vital to the success of any organization. We are natural leaders and visionaries, with a gift for seeing the big picture and guiding others towards success. However, Projectors often struggle in the business world, where the emphasis is on doing and pushing rather than waiting and guiding. My Journey

A little background initially about my journey in business as a Projector in a Generator's world.

I started investing in the stock market with the encouragement of my grandfather at 12 years old. He gave me a small amount of money and guided me on how to buy and sell shares. 

At 16, I was simultaneously working at my local golf club, coaching my local football team, and delivering pamphlets around my neighbourhood. 

Then at 18 years of age I started tutoring mathematics privately. 

At 19, I was buying and selling car parts with a friend. 

And at age 21 I created a health food business with two other friends called BlendCo. 

After BlendCo, I then started coaching people from all around the world for several years, and it was only after this that I created the Projector Movement. 

The reason I share this is to let you know I have had a long journey in business so far, and I've learned to understand some things that work and don't, as a Projector. Over time I've aligned myself more and more to the Projector energy, and thus aligned to my truth of Projector success.  

Here are some of these things that work well: 

Vibration Over Physical Reality 

A superpower of ours is our vibration. This can be harnessed through our emotions, intention and being-ness. It might sound a bit woo woo but as a Projector, before making that business call, before beginning your work day, before walking into that meeting, before making that instagram post...

Make sure you are aligned with your intention, that your energy feels good, and that your mind feels clear.

Why, you might ask? 

Because as Projectors, we are very connected to the unseen, the unmanifest, the vibrational nature of life. Play to your strengths and allow your energy to guide and lead the way. Don't force action, don't overdo things, or you will get outplayed every time by Generators. 

The Power of Waiting for the Invitation:

The most important thing for a Human Design Projector in business is to wait for the invitation. Projectors have an open an undefined sacral center, which means we don't have the capacity for sustainable energy, and are not designed to initiate action. Instead, we are meant to wait for the right opportunities to come to us. Waiting for the invitation allows Projectors to conserve our energy and focus it on the things that truly matter. It also ensures that we are in alignment with our unique purpose and not wasting our energy on things that are not meant for us.

During this waiting period, what we are actually doing is creating the right invitations to come to us by focusing on things that light us up, like learning and growing toward mastery of a system, taking care of ourselves, and pursuing pleasure. Focusing our energy on things that fill our cup is exactly what is needed to send out the right frequency that aligned invitations appropriate just for us.

Creating Your Authentic Message:

Crafting an authentic message is also key. Projectors have a gift for seeing the potential in others and guiding them towards their true purpose. This makes us excellent mentors, coaches, and healers, among other things. However, in order to attract the right clients, we need to be sure that our message is from the heart, clear, and compelling to the right audience. This message should be aligned with our unique gifts and talents and speak directly to the needs of our ideal clients.

Marketing Magic:

Once we have our message that feels completely true and authentic, the next step is to broadcast it to the right people. Projectors are not designed for traditional marketing techniques such as cold calling or aggressive sales tactics. Those tactics are essentially pushing, which goes against the Projector nature. Instead, we need to use our natural ability to connect with others to build relationships and attract clients. This can be done through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships. Projectors also need to be strategic in our use of social media, focusing on platforms that are in alignment with our unique energy and message.

Dealing with the Parts of Your Business That Hold You Back:

Every business has its challenges, and Projector businesses are no exception. We may struggle with the administrative tasks that come with running a business, or with the false need to be constantly pushing ourselves to achieve more. In order to be successful, we need to identify the parts of their business that hold us back and find ways to delegate or automate those tasks. This allows us to focus on what we do best – guiding and and leading others.

Minimal Work for Maximal Returns:

Another key to success for Projectors in business is to focus on minimal work for maximal returns. Projectors have a gift for efficiency and can achieve great results with minimal effort. This means we need to be strategic in our use of time and energy, focusing on the things that truly matter and delegating or automating the rest. This not only allows us to conserve our energy but also ensures that we are in alignment with our unique purpose and not wasting our energy on things that are not meant for us.

Practical Business Tools and Creative Delegation:

To be successful in business, we need to have the right tools, resources, and support at our disposal. This includes practical tools for managing our time and energy, as well as creative delegation techniques for outsourcing tasks that are not in alignment with our unique purpose. Projectors also need to be willing to invest in ourselves and our business, whether that means hiring a coach or mentor, or investing in the right technology and resources.
